Ingredients:
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 7 g dry yeast (or 25 g fresh yeast)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 300 ml warm milk or water
- 2 tbsp oil
- Extra oil for frying
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, mix yeast, sugar, and warm milk (or water). Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture and oil, then mix into a soft dough.
- Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
- Cover and let rise for about 1 hour, until doubled in size.
- Divide dough into small balls and flatten into discs.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry each piece until golden on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels.
