Ingredients:
- 300–400 g green peas (fresh or frozen)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 potato, diced (optional)
- 1 tbsp oil or butter
- 1–1.2 L vegetable or chicken broth (or water)
- Salt and black pepper
- 1 tsp sugar (optional)
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
- Heat oil or butter in a pot and sauté the onion until soft.
- Add carrots (and potato if using) and cook for 2–3 minutes.
- Add green peas and pour in the broth. Bring to a boil.
- Season with salt, pepper, and optional sugar.
- Simmer for 15–20 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Add parsley, mix, and serve hot.
