🥬 Hungarian Cabbage Noodles (Káposztás Tészta)

Ingredients:

  • 250 g egg noodles
  • 1 small cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil or butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the onion and cook until softened.
  4. Add the shredded cabbage and stir well.
  5. Sprinkle with sugar and cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is golden and caramelized.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper.
  7. Add the cooked noodles and toss until well combined and heated through.
