Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh cactus pads (nopales), cleaned and diced
- 1 liter cold water
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the cactus pads thoroughly and remove any spines.
- Cut the cactus into small pieces.
- Blend the cactus with 2 cups of water until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer.
- Pour into a pitcher and add the remaining water.
- Stir in the lemon juice and honey if using.
- Add ice cubes and mint leaves.
- Serve chilled.
