🧾 Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 150 g butter (cold)
- 100 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Apple filling:
- 5–6 apples (grated)
- 2–3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp semolina or breadcrumbs (optional, to absorb juice)
👩🍳 Instructions
- Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, salt.
- Add butter + eggs, knead into dough. Divide into 2 parts.
- Mix grated apples with sugar + cinnamon. Let sit, then drain excess juice.
- Roll out first dough layer and place in baking tray.
- Add apple filling evenly on top.
- Cover with second dough layer.
- Bake at 180°C for 35–40 minutes until golden.
- Cool, slice, and serve (optionally with powdered sugar).
