Ingredients

  • 4 cups (1 liter) filtered water
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 4–5 fresh mint leaves
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the dried cactus pieces if needed.
  2. Add the cactus, lemon slices, and mint leaves to a large pitcher.
  3. Pour in the filtered water.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 4–8 hours, or overnight.
  5. Remove the cactus pieces before serving if desired.
  6. Serve chilled over ice.

Notes

  • For a stronger flavor, let the mixture infuse overnight.
  • Add cucumber slices for a refreshing variation.
